Tony Watt looks set to sign on another loan deal - but this time with Blackburn. Hard not to kind of feel like that's a slap in the face really.

Looks like Blackburn will have £9m from selling Jordan Rhodes to Boro' and will be offering Watt a permanent deal in the summer. We can't match that whilst still under the embargo. Charlton aren't going to take a vague promise that it will have been lifted by then. Presumably they will also get a loan fee now and they do need the cash.
I hope that this embargo provides the shake up needed at City. For a club with money, the hierarchy have been pretty naive in many areas of football related business.

Looks like a clever/dodgy move by us. It appears that Zohore will sign for Tan's Belgian team but immediately come on loan to us!

Very innovative, but it seems the Football League are having a good look at the transaction and I suppose if they regard it as an avoidance measure, they could block it.

Sky Sports News have been reporting that Tom Lawrence of Leicester is joining us on loan (he was with Blackburn until today).

Cardiff City hope to sign Wales forward Tom Lawrence on loan from Leicester City until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old recently finished a loan spell with Championship side Blackburn Rovers,but was unhappy as he hardly featured in any games.

Cardiff City are desperately hoping to wrap up a loan deal for Wales starlet Tom Lawrence before the transfer deadline after inching ahead of Championship rivals in the race for his signature.
Bluebirds boss Russell Slade wants two attacking options added to his squad before Monday’s 11pm cut-off, with Odense forward Kenneth Zohore one – via a loan agreement with Vincent Tan’s Belgian club KVK Kortrijk.
