WHAT A TRANSFER WINDOW

Never thougnt I would see the day when our little club would bring so much talent in the door in 1 window.

I would like to make a big shout out to our malaysian owners for all there backing and believing our club is worth all this effort & to Malky and all the backroom staff for making myself and thousands of cardiff fans some of the happiest fans in the country over this last few weeks.

I have to say we could have good days ahead once the team gel. Pace, technique and strength in depth!

On paper we are amongst the best. Malky knows how to get team spirit going though, so that could put us up there

Starting 11 wise I think we in and around the best in the division. But I think our main strength is our strength in depth that I don't think many, if any have in this division. I think we will really come into our own when other clubs are struggling with injuries and suspensions, we'll be easily dealing with it due to our vast variety of talent that is available to us.

Tommy Smith about QPR's promotion season said that even if players didn't play for 4 or 5 weeks they had a massive impact when they did play

I wonder if the existing squad were unsettled by all of this activity and this contributed to our less than scintillating start to the season? Debating with a mate last night the merits of the transfer widow closing before the season starts

Very good point. I've also wondered how much our own fans, particularly on message boards, may of caused the stuttering start. I know if I played for the team I'd have a keen eye on what people are saying, and reading week after week about how crap I am and how I desperately need to be replaced wouldn't help my confidence at all, really. Some people might be inspired by it, but I think the majority would be harmed by it.

Teams will be scared of facing us now!

I think I would avoid mb's like the Black Death and concentrate on what people said to my face. Problem with mb's is that you do not know whether the poster has forty years of experience and still does not know what he is talking about, knows what he is talking about, or some spotty youth who knows the square root of f.uck all about football.
You would need the hide of a Rhino to dwell too long on a mb!
