Anything to do with ins & outs at City, or anything of interest elsewhere, if you like..............
First up, City slap £10m price tag on David Marshall according to WO. That should please Tache.

New striker ert
There was a time when I would get excited about the prospect of a foreign player joining us. Seems the club have failed to learn from previous lessons...

The claim is that his agent began to put the groundwork in place for a move elsewhere BECAUSE the club were seemingly uninterested in a renewal.
And various wales online sources are claiming those reports are bogus, and we aren't interested in Weghorst. Will have to wait and see.

I think it's six and two threes regarding Jones. I'm sure City would like to have kept him, but on lower wages. That was never going to happen, given clubs like those in Abu Dhabi and China have silly money to throw around.

Barnum-Bobb & O'Sullivan back at City. Strange one this, as apparently, they both wanted to stay at County and Slade was happy with that. It looks like County had other plans.
Where that leaves these two is anyone's guess, but Slade has been quoted that he doesn't feel O'Sullivan is ready for teh Championship. Both are cup tied, so no chance of first team action there.
Perhaps further loan moves are on the cards.....I hope so, as they have b*gger-all prospects at City at the moment.

If they were impressing County would be keen to extend the loan - you don't willingly ditch your best players. Doesn't exactly scream promising in my eyes.
Weird, as i remember Barnum-Bobb looking pretty decent even at premiership level.

De Telegraaf the Dutch daily newspaper, is reporting this morning that the deal with City is off and Celtic have now stepped in
On the subject of JBB and O'Sullivan, word on the street is that Newport manager John Sheridan is off to Notts County in the coming days. He doesn't want to agree any deals in the meantime, which will be left to the new man in charge.

He'd never played a league game for anyone before going to the County although he made two League Cup appearances for us. The old memory is playing tricks on you Red!

Just paraphrasing WO, but City looking to offload Macheda and Revell this month. Looks like a contract release for Macheda and a loan for Revell.
I can't help but feel that Macheda has been unlucky. As well as the injuries, which were unfortunate, he signed to play for a Man Utd legend and ended up with a management structure that couldn't have been more different. He opted to stick it out last summer, but things just haven't worked out.
Go in peace, my son, you will find a club that suits..........

It wouldn't suprise me if kenwyne wasn't offered a deal, the club probably glad to offload him paying him 35k plus bonus's, so why would the club who are cutting costs want to offer there biggest earner a new deal of still extortionate wages...!! (I'm guessing 25k a week) and that would be my guess still be clubs top earner,
They could see he wasn't bothered (or close to that affect) told him he could leave and just get shot, & tell us fans not to try and make themselves look like idiots for letting a player of kens ability (when he can. Be bothered) go

This morning's rumour is Craig Noone of interest to at least one of Brighton, Hull, Bournemouth or Norwich.
If he does go, then it must be to one of the PL clubs. City selling to a Championship rival would not say much for the already doubtful ambition being put out by the club.

Now wales online are reporting Wout Weghorst himself has claimed we have shown interest, and are of course now denying they ever said it was untrue.
