As expected, there is interest in Bruno Manga from the PL. I would be quite happy to sell him and free up cash to strengthen elsewhere. I don't think he has been the same player this year in any event, but he has had some really shaky games away from home.

If he's fit, I'd rather give Ben Turner a new contract, as he has been immense for the club ever since he joined. On the other hand, Manga has made it clear from the off that he wants PL football and if Cardiff is only a springboard to that, then so be it.

With a fit Turner, we will still have three very good CBs, plus young backups that the club will hopefully look to develop under a new regime.

Swansea after Manga, according to Wales Online.

Has the retained list been released yet? We always seem to be one of the last teams in that regard.

There was a rumour yesterday that Ben Turner has been released but I agree that Manga should be sold. I think Oshilaja will be about 22 next season and at any other club would have been looked at in the first team by now. Having said that, he's always looked more of a right back in the making to me.

If Oshilaja is full back material, then that is even better, as, at the moment, that is a real position of weakness for us.

Manga linked with Rennes and the chance to link up again with his old manager. Fees of between £1m - £3m quoted depending what you read.

£1m for Manga would be a disappointment, and you have to wonder if selling him would actually be worth it. We'll have to spend close to that figure to bring in a first-choice replacement - fingers crossed it's closer to the £3m mark.

I thought that he looked quite useful in the couple of games he played and maybe would have progressed if given the chance.

Sadly not to be under Slade, but presumably Trollope doesn't rate him either.
