Windows 8 Update

First topic message reminder :

For those using the new operating system, W8.1 will be rolling out at the end of June. A few cosmetic upgrades by the looks of things.

I've no idea what it does or doesn't do, so I put in a full disclaimer on any consequences, but it might be worth a read at least.

I'll have to read through that a few times more to get it straight and work out the bits I need.

.......and the laptop boots up to desktop every time. I just need to be able to stop the screen switching to Metro on an annoying regularity........
