I've just upgraded to the Windows 10 preview and I have to say  that I like it a lot. It's very clean and very similar to Windows 7 - the new start menu is actually really nice and functional too.

The new Cortana 'siri-like' search feature and the new spartan browser is not live yet but have to say, very impressed!

Here is a screenshot.

I'm not interested in getting the early access version because it's going to be a huge headache in terms of compatibility with half of the programs I use. I am impressed though and will probably upgrade once it's universally compatible.

Yes, that looks much neater!

How did you get the Beta Rhys? Like Red, I won't go for it right now for the same reasons but I'm curious nevertheless.

Here we go arkay - so far, not so much as bug...though FIFA 15 can lag occasionally.

Well Red won't be using it until that issue is resolved then

I don't think I can live another day with Windows 8.1. Had it since Christmas and it is just horrid.

8.1 is definitely geared towards tablets and not laptops / desktops.

Actually Red, is FIFA 14 better than 15 or are you just saying that because you don't actually own the latter?

I feel I should move on from FIFA 12 sometime in my lifetime... Sad

Exactly my point... Windows 10 Preview 692773407

And the latter, but I tend to like to run on a biannual cycle - they don't change enough really to justify buying it all over again every year. I had 13, I got 14 free with my xbox so it'll be next years version I start to look at again.

And such beautiful, beautiful irony that you write that on the Internet Cyncoed...
