First topic message reminder :
Rumours, speculation, opinions welcomed here.......
As expected, there is interest in Bruno Manga from the PL. I would be quite happy to sell him and free up cash to strengthen elsewhere. I don't think he has been the same player this year in any event, but he has had some really shaky games away from home.
If he's fit, I'd rather give Ben Turner a new contract, as he has been immense for the club ever since he joined. On the other hand, Manga has made it clear from the off that he wants PL football and if Cardiff is only a springboard to that, then so be it.
With a fit Turner, we will still have three very good CBs, plus young backups that the club will hopefully look to develop under a new regime.

Emyr Huws signing maybe signals a couple of midfielders leaving. Maybe time for Gunnarsson to move on and Adeyemi doesn't appear to figure in Trollope's plans.
Back on Huws, here is an interesting article from a year or so ago. The comments at the foot of it are worth reading too....

Adeyemi to Rotherham on loan. Contract up at the end of this season, so I guess that we won't see him again.
A shame, I thought he should have been persevered with, as he had been a fine player for Brum before he left them for us.

Sky Sports say Hull bid for Marshall accepted.
The Emperor is clearing the decks!

Busy day all-in-all, then. Don't know a lot about Bennett, but Villa fans don't have too many bad words to say about him from what I've seen which is a promising sign.
Ben Amos a more-than-adequate back-up keeper. That obviously changes if Dai Marshall leaves, but for what it's worth I think he'll stay.
[Edit:] And Dikagoi has gone - AT LAST!

Word is that Marshall didn't have any say in it.
The books are being balanced, contracts are being paid up as predicted, but we should be left with enough quality to ensure a top half finish, which ought to be something that can be built on.

It is rumoured that the Marshall sale is forced to comply with FFP rules, as City can't offload Le Fondre or Macheda and can't pay up their contracts, without breaching FFP.

Meanwhile, the Wurzels sell a striker to Derby for £14m that they bought for not much last year and bring in a youngster from Chelsea who has scored 6 in 7 games. We bring in Kenneth Noscore and Freddie Gonorrhea. Hopeless.
