Very poor.
1 stonewall penalty, another where their c/b had his arms wrapped around Helguson could have been another.
The handball was more ball to hand so would have been harsh.
Having said that the performance overall was very poor, what tactics was malky playing? There seemed no shape, fluency or urgency in the team.
On the positive side Marshall was outstanding, Hudson was good as was Mason when he came on, as for the rest, well they were dire.
If it carries on like this don't put your money on going up.

The ref was absolutely appalling. Their keeper was virtually taking the piss out of him with the second half time wasting but he didn't want to know.

Agreed last nights decision making was bottom drawer and Cardiff need to improve, but Huddersfield were well organised, we kept a clean sheet and took 3 points....
Good teams take points when the don't play to their full ability and things go against them... Too early to predict much at all yet but we are where we are 3 points from the first game

Watched the game on tv last night. The officials were truly awful, particularly the linesman on City's right in the 2nd half. How Southern stayed on the pitch at all, but particularly after his kick on Helguson is beyond me..............goodness knows how the linesman missed it

The linesman on my side of the pitch made at least 3 howlers with throw-in decisions.
The yellow card for Whittingham looked harsh as well; I thought he played the ball.

I am particularly impressed by the use on this forum of "linesman" and not bloody "referee's assistant".

It's called word economy. Saves RWS, wear on the keyboard and links in the relatively new website with footballing tradition. It could be reduced further to "lino" but there are some social standards one has to adhere to.

The ref was one of those grinning "ref with a smile on your face" idiots which always winds me up to hell. Running around smiling at how crap he was thinking to himself Eeee I'm ruining this for everyone but I'm happy yeeee. Git.
