Chelsea v Everton last night, John Terry equalised with practically the last kick of the game but was clearly at least a yard offside. To make things worse, even Guus Hiddink admitted he could see Terry was offside from the touch line!

We always say we need to wait until an officials mistake costs a team points, and this is categorically what has happened here. If Terry was rightly called offside, the goal would of been ruled out and the final whistle blown. As it stands, Everton have had two points stolen from then.

There was another incident in the Wednesday v Leeds game. SW were making a substitution before a Leeds free kick, but Forestieri was taking an age to get off the field. The ref started the game before the substitution had been completed and Leeds scored. Wednesday objected and the ref reversed his decision.

To add to the farce, the Leeds manager was in the loo at the time and missed the incident. Didn't stop him from having a near seizure when he got back pitchside.

Another day another controversy, but this one takes the biscuit. Man City v Everton was a farce, with the second goal having crossed the lines of the pitch by over half a yard before being crossed in. The third goal? A foul was played against John Stones for an illegal throw - despite the fact he hasn't thrown the ball in yet. Instead of just correcting Stones as to where he should be standing, Martin Atkinson just gave a foul immediately.

Worse this morning, Phil Jagielka has claimed that when he attempted to challenge these calls, he was simply told 'maybe you should of defended better'!
