Really poor match officials

I was over joyed with yesterday's result against Burnley which confirmed Cardiff City as the Championship winners. But i haven't seen or read anything about the terrible treatment that was dished out by Burnley's thug Ross Wallace on Kim Bo-Kyung. To make matters even worse he got off scot free and the inept officials eventually showed Kim a yellow card. The actions or non-actions by the match day officials are what i call selective refereeing in that they see only what they want to see. I cannot bring myself to even consider anything approacing respect for inept and piss poor officials who are in my opinion a disgrace to the beautiful game.
Okay, rants over lol.

In most other respects, the referee had a good game BUT his failure to see not one, but two red card offences by Wallace on Kim was very poor. Then to dish out a yellow card to Kim after yet another foul on him just rubbed salt into the wounds

It was appalling and I can fully understand Kim confronting the player. The ref was only a few feet away on one occasion and looking at the incident for all of them!
I wonder if there's a case for retrospective action? Do City have to lodge a complaint?
Can WE do it? I'd very much like to send Trash along to an FA disciplinary hearing with a full case of lighter fluid

Please don't send Trash after we've waited all this time to be promoted.

I'm not sure that anything exists in football where no action has been taken on the pitch. It certainly is possible for players to be "cited" in rugby and punishments dished out retrospectively. That works well for that sport.
I feel that would be a far better investment in technology for the greater good of our game than, say, goal line systems, which are rarely going to be used.

I thought that retrospective action based on video evidence was possible, but only if none of the officials saw the incident. If the ref saw it and decided to take no action, then no further action is possible, but if it wasn't seen then further action could be taken on review of the video evidence. Or is that just Premier League?

We would end up in the Ryman's Premier by the time the hearing was over...
