Surprised at that, thought it would be at Millenium, but the ground in Monaco where it has been held for a while has under 20k capacity.

Heard rumours this morning and just assumed they were talking about the Millennium Stadium. Bit of a coup that it's coming to CCS.
However I would much rather we hosted it in August 2015. Then.......
CCFC Future Seasons.
2012-2013 Promotion to the Prem.
2013-2014 Fourth Place and into Champions League.
2014-2015 Win Champions League.
Aug 2015 - European Super Cup at own Stadium. Result.

To be chosen ahead of so many fantastic stadia around Europe is an incredible privilege. I guess that stadium expansion is a near certainty now - expect work to start next Summer.

I assume it's more to do with pushing a, sort of, high profile game around Europe to lesser nations.
If you check out the attendances for this game at Monaco, it's only around an 18k attendance.

Monaco now Cardiff, I'm looking forward to the Grand Prix. They could have a street circuit with the pits in Ely, they'd get your tyres off in under a second
