I hope that doesn't happen today!

Big, big win for Palace today, which may have done for us. However, still a few tough games left for everyone. Next one against Pulis should be a cracker.

I have a feeling of dread that our survival might come down to needing something from the Chelsea game........ pale

Gutted about the palace score - now I've called down a bit, I now believe it is game over for us possible for us to avoid the drop!

Solskjaer is about as good at arranging a defence at he is finding good strikers (or wingbacks...). Our goals conceded per match has sky rocketed and has continued to do so even now he's had both top teams and lower end teams to square up to.

Scoring 3 goals is irrelevant when you let the opponent walk through you and score 6.

But we have scored 10 goals in our last 4 games, nearly as many as we scored all season under Malky it seems!

We just need to work on our defence - but I think that is obvious to all!

Well I think we are down but we have gone down fighting (if that's the case)...and I would sooner be losing 6-3 to Liverpool under OGS than the 4-0 under Malky! At least the team is now a more attractive side that doesn't hope to put 11 behind the ball and cling on for dear life for 90 minutes!

Unbelievable Palace win though and that is likely to be the nail in our coffin  **Official Match Day Thread - WBA v City** - Page 6 635981802

Blimey I'm sick to death of people saying 'we only need to sort the defence out', or saying it's better than Malky. Just because we score more goals it doesn't make us a better team, we might as well play eleven strikers and hope for the best the way we play at the back. There is no difference whatsoever between being a fortress at the back but not scoring and putting five goals past the opponent a match but conceeding six in the process. You can forget your 'well at least it's more exciting!', because we still lose every single week. They are both crap play styles that will get you relegated, and now they have done.

Now we are pretty much officially done for let's stop this pathetic championing of one manager or the other. Malky now officially couldn't of done any worse and there's zero evidence he could of done any better either.

I am heartily fed up with Mark Lawrenson's weekly comment that the managerial change was a mistake and we would be "relatively safe" under Malky. Pure speculation on his part and it is a pity that the commentators didn't take a proper look at what was happening at City and the performances of the team pre-Christmas.

I'm looking forward to next season, and wherever we are playing, the team is going to be a much changed one.

Well said TDA. We were dropping like a stone under Malky and his record over his last 30 games in charge was poor other than a few adrenalin fuelled results at the start of this season.
I think we will probably go down but if we do I am looking forward to seeing how Ole will cope in a less challenging division.
