Albion Pepe Mel was today facing a mounting injury crisis ahead of Saturday’s crucial clash with Cardiff after Gareth McAuley and Victor Anichebe joined his growing list of casualties.

The Spaniard is already without the suspended Jonas Olsson and the injured duo of Chris Brunt and Diego Lugano for Saturday while Billy Jones and Morgan Amalfitano missed the Hull game with hamstring problems and are battling to recover for the weekend.

Sweet Jaysus Rhys! Have you been on the funny mushrooms again?
If you win that bet, drinks are on you for the rest of the season

Most definitely the defining game of our season........I think OGS will go for it...2 - 0 City.......
Noone is out.
As mentioned, it doesn't really get bigger than this. I've been saying we need three points all week, but a point tomorrow and three next week would be okay.

This is HYAWGE. As mentioned already we need 3 points, anything less is rather, erm, pointless. Three here and then three at home against Palace and we are we...ok so I'm getting a bit too far ahead of myself here. But yeh, 6 points in 2 games and we're in the mix. We haven't been on a run all season, but this is THE time to get on one.
I like Kim, he's got abiwity, but he's been poor for most of the season and it's time for Whitts to come back, we'll need a cool head for that penalty we're surely going to be awarded tomorrow afternoon.

As I was derelict in my duty yesterday in not putting up a prematch thread..........bloody typical....there's no-one on here all week, then suddenly everyone has something to say..........anyway, as I was out enjoying myself and not looking after things on here, I thought I had better do an **Official Match Day Thread** which Rhys can merge with Tache's prematch one.
City have never lost when I have done the **Official Match Day Thread**, so what better time than today to try to perpetuate that run?
I don't expect OGS to sit back and grind out a draw, so this would be my team.......

A whatee?
Also, agreed about Kim and Whitts.
I suspect we will see Wilf start today
I like you're setup tda - though I wonder if we will see Fabio play on the right midfield today?
One thing is for sure, Ole does keep us all guessing with his setup and selection. (Which is so refreshing after 7 years of stubborn tactics)

Fabio ended up at left back against Liverpool and was pretty effective getting forward on that side. Not sure about Zaha in front of him though.......maybe start Kimbo on the left, with Zaha and Bellamy given the freedom to roam.
