I think they should just hand is the trophy against the Wurzels on Saturday. That'll rub their noses in it. Actually, sod it, they may a well give us a place in the champions league next season as when we go up we're obviously going to finish in the top 4. Putting us in a season early for a bit of experience can't hurt

I almost posted something similar to the Echo article a few days ago having done my own research after the 30 game mark. Perhaps one of the reasons some of us can't totally relax is because of Blackburn. They are not on the list because they don't fall within the last 10 years category. Basically they 'did a Cardiff' even before Cardiff thought of doing it and the only reason the football world never talked about 'doing a Blackburn' was because they managed to go up via the play offs.

I can say though that my own figures showed that for every season the second tier has been played over 46 games that no team on 62 points or more after 30 games has ever failed to go up automatically.

I understand the apprehension but believe - this is our season.
