I had a text today saying Malky's main target in Jan is Manchester united stiker Macheda.
This came from a guy that works in security down the stadium on match days. I didnt think alot about it but he has never said another wrong so far eg he said about the rebranding about a week before it came out.
I was just looking online and seen this headline. . What do you think could this the be player Malky is after.

This is interesting. Macheda is something of an Enigma to me. Although Malky setting his sights on a man utd player is encouraging. I think Fergies response will say a great deal about our progress. He is inclined to send players our for regular football at footballing sides.

Hmmm, interesting Although, it does beg the question in my mind - why hasn't he made the breakthrough into the United side?
I know they are a top class team but it always sows the seeds of doubt in my mind, but then, my mind is like a ploughed field - barren and muddy.

I'm with Arkay on this. Macheda hasn't delivered on early promise and I think he's going the way of Luke Chadwick and David Healy.

Tom Ince didn't set the world alight considering early promise at Liverpool either, but look what he's done for Blackpool since joining them. I completely agree Macheda is unproven and *could* be a flop, but some players thrive when taken away from the spotlight of a European giant, there's much less pressure.
Also, to be fair, it would be pretty hard to break into a team that even Rooney occasionally struggles to get in to (depending on formation).
Lets be honest, if he was a regular feature at united, pushing rooney and van percy for a birth, then there would be no chance of him joining a team like ours.

Exactly, we could get a player that's absolutely fuming he never got a chance at United who would use the move to show what he can really do. We buy him on the cheap, he bangs in goal after goal and sets the whole league alight and then United should expect to pay ten or twenty times more than what we paid them to have him back. I wouldn't complain at all.

Taarabt also left spurs to go to QPR and he was unproven at the time.
