I once attended the Womens Welsh Cup final as it was played in Aberystwyth where was living at the time. Bangor City beat Newcastle Emlyn 3-0. What I remember most about that day was the ball whizzing less than an inch past my face whilst I was, ahem, not watching the ball.
Anyhoo, just checked on wikipedia as I couldn't remember who Bangor were playing that day and it seems Cardiff City ladies won the cup 8 years on the trott from the 2002/3 season 'til the 2009/10 season. During that run of finals they scored 47 goals and conceeded 2.
They're also the current holders but only managed to beat UWIC 4-2 on penalties afer a 1-1 draw.
How's about that fact fans?

Don't know if anyone saw the Brazil v Cameroon game. The Cameroons werent putting up the biggest challenge but I still think the Brazilian ladies would give.some mens team q good match
