Only a handful of people watch and they're probably the team's other halves. It makes cricket look exciting. How come those watching at Middlesbro weren't all herded together opposite the cameras?

Credit to you for making a very sexist comment somehow kind of make sense
Us England fans would do well to follow women's football more than the men's - our women's team is definetely among the best in the world. We're kidding ourselves saying the same about the men.

From a quality of football perspective I have no standard I can apply. It appears dreadful; on a par with Women's cricket. Skill without physicality and pace doesn't cut the mustard I'm afraid.

I'd sooner watch a Welsh league game than a women's international. The fact that it isn't in the same league as men's is easily demonstrated by the money it is unable to generate. There just isn't that sense of menace in it to warrant attention.

did anyone else see this good game of football. More exciting then some of Euro games I endured.

The physicality differences will always be there, but that doesn't necessarily make it unwatchable. I've quite enjoyed some of the women's football at this olympics, and I think the skill standard is improving all the time.
