Twitter is currently full of idiots claiming football has gone soft because Galatasaray have been forced into paying for the damage caused to Arsenals pitch when their fans let threw flares upon it during the champions league. At the time they also made fun of fans that were outraged by it.
You know, because hooligans throwing flares onto grass that's been dried by floodlights less than ten yards from the goalkeeper is clearly just the footballing atmosphere. I bet they think that capacity limits are just a moneymaking scam too....
EDIT: in other news, iPhones HATE spelling Galatasaray...
