With the transfer window running until the end of the month there are regularly players joining clubs after the season has started. I agree though, it is one thing to be a winger allowed a few weeks to settle in before making your debut, quite another thing to get a totally new central defensive partnership up and running in less than a week.

The People are reporting that Mark Hudson may be off to Leeds. Another good club servant who may be better off elsewhere.

If we land 2 extra Centrebacks, he may well be deemed surplus to requirements.

Might be a good time to leave now whilst we remember him fondly

Given our likely collection of centrebacks and Ole's liking, it seems, for attacking fullbacks playing like wingbacks, is it outrageous to think that he may experiment with some kind of 5-3-2 / 3-5-2 formation with 3 centrebacks deployed at times this season?

I'm probably way off the mark on this but i admit i did wonder when i first saw Cala, Hudson and Turner with consequitive squad numbers.

I've been wondering the same thing............team objective.........."score more than the opposition!"

No way would I let Hudson leave. He was voted our player of the year a little over 12 months ago don't forget!
