So AVB didn't want four of his seven summer signings....that's shambolic!

"Villas-Boas objected to the acquisitions of Erik Lamela, Nacer Chadli, Vlad Chiriches and Christian Eriksen, a quartet who cost Spurs a total of £56million, but his judgment was overruled."

That's the chairmen interfering to the tune of 55% of Bale's transfer windfall?!

Man, that is bad!

Instead of those four, AVB wanted David Villa, Hull and Joao Moutinho. Any one of those is better than the other 4 combined.

That's two clubs in a row AVB hasn't been given a chance at. I would say id take him at Cardiff but Tan would just interfere all over again. He needs a team that is happy to let him run things his way.

whilst tan is here, no matter who manager is, he will interfere, we need a chairman who won't interfere,

Ah Dave, can you ever accept that an owner of a football club is to blame for something? Tan not alone in interfering with transfers 692773407

I'm convinced now that if Tan left, he'd simply swap roles with Sam Hammam. Give him ownership but Tan remains a large stake shareholder to get his money back.

It's a good way to ruin your Christmas, so I apologise in advance Tan not alone in interfering with transfers 692773407

It's a dangerous game being hired as Head Coach and not Manager - the decisions you make away from the pitch are limited.

Name one poster that hasn't accepted that Malky has made significant mistakes recently.

My comment was sort of tongue in cheek. Point being if someone puts £50 million into a transfer kitty of course they will want to be involved a little bit in deciding how it is spent. I think we are in agreement Dave.
