**Official Pre-Match Thread - City v Norwich**

I can't see any signings that we don't know about being done in time for Saturday, so as we are now entering the "must-win" bit of the season, I expect OGS to put out this team.....

Hard fought draw. Think Norwich will park the bus and aim to catch us on the counter.

I'm going to watch it with Slumdog Snr, so I'm going for a 2-1 victory to City

Campbell is a perfect impact sub. If Norwich have been defending deep all match and we fail to break through his pace against a pair of tired centrebacks could be the difference.

Hey, Red....we agree on a team! Campbell will have to be our impact sub, now that we have lost your hero to Blackburn...  

City haven't had a prolific striker since Chopra. We have relied on goals from midfield and set pieces.

Nothing has changed really, but we have been too defensive this season. When we have attacked we have looked capable of opening up any defence and have score some very nice goals.

Hopefully, OGS can work on that side of things and get the midfield up in support more quickly. We also need to defend higher up the park and not get pinned back.

In the October game, Norwich had 61% of the possession, 31 shots and it was only Marshall who kept City in the game. They were not that a good side then and on present form still don't look anything special. A late winner against 10 man Hull is one of only two league goals they have to declare in January.

We will learn an awful lot about the rest of our season from today's game.

Not sure if Zaha is match fit but he should hopefully play some part. He could make a real difference on the left.
Dare I say it, but I would leave Whittingham out of the starting XI, need more pace/mobility in midfield.

Goes without say that this is a MUST WIN game.
1-0 in a scrappy affair.

I am wondering, if Zaha isn't 100% match fit, whether we might see Bellamy as a replacement in the second half, in which case, I'll put him on my bench instead of Berget.
