0-2 for me. But I am prepared to be proven inept at this prediction game with a most wonderful result.

Not sure about this...."they have no strikers" arguement...........neither do many modern teams.......the goals are shared round midfield & defence.......bit like City really........
Anyway, City all the way for me 2 - 0......

0-2 Cardiff
Nice 1 gloves
Nice 1 gloves
I don't like it when I feel confident before a game as then I think we will lose which then makes me feel like i'm being paranoid which justifies my initial confidence and I get stuck in a terrible loop.
Umm, err, a draw?

Every team in the league sets themselves up with strikers, Birmingham despite battling relegation have a striker who's in the top five goal scorers this far, of course they will miss him. True enough if you look purely at goals only 50% of birmingham's have been finished by strikers (similar percentage as our own actually), that doesn't take into account the effect those strikers have in terms of assists, attracting defensive attention, and overall morale boost. As I said Marlon King this season is one of the most dangerous front men you will meet, and defenders mark him heavily because of this. In doing so gaps open, and in those gaps midfielders have scored. Without King there, and also without the strength of Zigic, the defenders will have a much easier time. In there place would either be youth players with virtually no experience or midfielders out of position, much less threatening.
3-0 City. To be more exact I reckon the first goal could take a while to arrive, maybe not till the second half. For Birmingham a draw would be a result so they'll be happy to defend deep. If they concede though they will be forced to go on the offensive in a manner they're not used to thanks to their key strikers being missing, meaning their formation might crack and goals start tumbling.

I hate Marlon King. He's a woman beater. Therefore I would quite like it if something unpleasant happened to him. I do hope he has a disaster. One of my top moments this season was when Birmingham played Wolves and Bakary Sako smashed a free kick against his legs which deflected in, to King's clear embarrassment. Priceless.
Am I the only one who doesn't rate Jack Butland? I've never actually seen him have a decent game, and he seemed to have a few 'mares with GB.
Can't wait for tomorrow now, staying in tonight ready for an early(ish) start in the morning!
Also, just for the record I've been making match threads regularly but they always seem to get merged with the others! (Own up...)
