It was a disappointment to see him go, but he had been injured and was finding it difficult to get back into the team at that time.

I was gutted when we let him go originally, and he's continued to bang them in. Would take him back, but any more than £4m is a bit steep.

Has said on SSN that he would have considrred move if he knew of McDermott's sacking, but probably too late in the day now.....

I would rather not have him honest. over-rated in my opinion and benefited from an extraordinary amount of goals from penalties in his best season for us.
