The latest developments follow an article in the Daily Mail which linked Vural with a move to England.
"Everyone in the world looks up to the Premier League and around the world everyone tries to take something from English football," Vural said speaking to the Daily Mail.
"It is the professional game at its highest. Everyone is in love with it and in Turkey we are in love with it."
Cardiff City's Turkish Cypriot chairman Mehmet Dalman is reported to have met with Vural according to the Turkish press.

I was expecting an appointment along the lines of 'Arry Redknapp, Dick Advocaat or Hiddink...someone who wouldn't be around long term, but would guarantee results. Surely a good proposition for a football club? Better than some pub football team coach?

Steve Borley has tweeted "Some utter crap doing the rounds on MB's and media about our manager which is utter B******* with a capital B on the eve of a big game"
Also when asked if there was any truth in the rumour he said "None whatsoever".
Shocking stuff from WalesOnline.

I find it distasteful that they have run with something that has so little foundation. A bit disappointing

Had anyone on here heard of the Southampton manager before he came to the Premier League?
I'm just making the point that just because a manager may not be well known doesn't automatically mean that he's no good.
