"It wouldn't be right for me to say anything while the club in mention [Cardiff City] have a manager but we have been in contact" Vural said.
Yılmaz Vural has been tipped to take over as the next manager of Cardiff City.
"It wouldn't be right for me to say anything while the club in mention [Cardiff City] have a manager but we have been in contact" Vural said.
"Also I have been approached by two clubs in the lower league, it's a case of waiting now."
The latest developments follow an article in the Daily Mail which linked Vural with a move to England.
"Everyone in the world looks up to the Premier League and around the world everyone tries to take something from English football," Vural said speaking to the Daily Mail.
"It is the professional game at its highest. Everyone is in love with it and in Turkey we are in love with it."
Cardiff City's Turkish Cypriot chairman Mehmet Dalman is reported to have met with Vural according to the Turkish press.
The Bluebirds earned promotion to the Premier League following winning the 2012-13 Championship league title.
Cardiff are currently in 15th position and are managed by Malky Mackay.
Vural is also being linked with Sheffield United - the Shields are currently in 18th place in League One and have a Turkish director.
Another club the 60-year-old is understood to have received interest from is Portsmouth who are struggling in League Two.
Vural is a controversial figure in Turkish football, the experienced manager has coached 22 clubs and is well known for his touchline antics

Well done Tache......you have scooped WalesOnline!
http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/reports-turkey-link-yilmaz-vural-6352633
Here they are running with a story, using the same link as you. This is totally irresponsible journalism from a local paper. There is little substance to the story and can only cause further speculation and unrest.
What this rag will do for a story beggars belief..............yesterday plagiarising the match programme, today nicking Tache's exclusive......

I don't think VT would appoint someone like that guy. I think they would want someone with a smaller element of risk. As a businessman he would surely know that someone from the lower echelon's of Turkish football, with a dodgy reputation, would make him a ludicrous appointment!

It would be nearly as silly as hiring a 23 year old from Kazhakstan that was painting the walls as a work experience student in the summer as your new head of recruitment, wouldn't it?Slumdog's Son wrote:I don't think VT would appoint someone like that guy. Hopefully, he has learnt something from the fall-out and UK Border Control investigation following that appointment!Red614 wrote:It would be nearly as silly as hiring a 23 year old from Kazhakstan that was painting the walls as a work experience student in the summer as your new head of recruitment, wouldn't it?Slumdog's Son wrote:I don't think VT would appoint someone like that guy.
