not to mention the off season, i'm sure that will have a major effect with less football to talk about.
and everyone is off for their holidays as well?

Yup, think it's a well earned sabbatical. I know I need a break from football and City for a bit - especially after the ridiculousness of "Shortsgate" and the angst that caused this week.

I looked a couple of times yesterday and thought about a thread for Brazil v England, but there was no-one else in sight.
Just very quiet on the footie front. Once we start seeing a new arrival or two, I am sure there will be plenty to talk about.

i am dealing with the quick and a little unexpected death of my father-in-law. have not shed any tears, but mrs and m-i-l need consoling. picking up the pieces and dealing with everything. been coming home from m-i-l shattered, but still trying to get my priorities sorted.
dipped out on craig's signing and had a winge about no ballot e-mail. even anne's wedding dress has had to be put on hold

Sorry to hear all that, but, unlike others, you appear to have a valid excuse for non-attendance....
