If watford win at hull it stays at 11 pts
If Watford draw we need 9 pts
and if watford lose we need 8 pts

Though it may well go down to that last game of the season.

So if Hull win tonight, it could be, conservatively:

Draw @ Watford
Win v Barnsley
Draw v Nottm Forest
Win v Charlton clinches promotion.

If we win at Watford then one more win after that will give us 84 points - promotion secured.

Even a draw today followed by a defeat by us would leave Watford a maximum of 83 points.

It is possible for us to do it in two wins.

I booked this holiday to ensure I would only miss one game i.e. Watford so what do they do - stick Watford on TV and reschedule Barnsley home for next Tuesday so I can miss both - after 44 years of following this lot are the schedulers trying to ensure I can't see my team go up?

There is something quite perverse about continuing to support this club after that length of time.......not sure what, though, as I am coming up to 47 years of heartache and misery myself......
