Cardiff based story idea!

Set in the near future (because everything is), Cardiff City have become the biggest team in football, the only sport in the world since all others were inexplicably destroyed. Their fanbase numbers in the billions, with every 9 in 10 people being Cardiff fans.

Vincent Tan however has turned his fascination with changing the clubs strip into an obsession, and has began changing it three or four times a season. This has led to dozens of splinter groups, each with millions of members, declaring civil war upon each other while championing their own shirt. Among the most powerful groups are the historic 'Keep Cardiff Blue', the last of the normal years 'Keep Cardiff Red', 'Keep Cardiff Green, 'Keep Cardiff Yellow' and 'Keep Cardiff Orange'. The civil war lasts for years and rapidly grows into a new world war, with other countries springing up with their own splinter groups like the Asian influenced 'Make Cardiff Malaysian!' And their main opposition 'Keep Cardiff Welsh' (Some confused individuals even briefly created 'Keep Cardiff English', but they were quickly destroyed by their own stupidity).

It's a story of love, hate, friendship, but above all - how f*****g stupid a shirt colour can make people.

There is also a Directors Cut special edition ending in which Bruce Willis works with a blue City top wearing small child who proclaims "I see red people"... Turns out Bruce Willis is dead (jus liike uor histry an eritage) and has come back from 'the lower leagues' and the child is 'Ankles' in a formative phase of his development.....

As a draft, it could be the evil Jacks take advantage and seize the stadium from under our noses. Each faction is too weak individually to take it back so they all agree to unite under the banner of a rainbow Cardiff City top. This eventually leads to the mass caravan burning of 2038.

Maybe drop the rainbow shirt bit, sounds a bit poncy
