We seem to have a very wide spread of musical tastes on this board.... and we do obscure and mainstream very well... So if you had to pick 1 album, and 1 album only, to listen to for he rest of your life what would it be.... No greatest hits please gentlemen
I would like to say something cool like Revolver, Pet Sounds, Nevermind or London Calling... Which are all brilliant... But for me it would have to be Lexicon of Love by ABC

Hmmm, yes, I would love to stamp my authority on the music loving world by saying some deeply original, obscure classic album but no, I'm plumping for a straight forward rock-out choice...
U2 - Achtung Baby!
It's hugely nostalgic for me and every single track is a freakin' winner. Twenty years on and I still don't tire of hearing it.

Prince - Sign O' The Times.
Not because it is my favourite album though it is high on the list. No i choose this because it has a good variety of tracks and moods, excellent songs and as a double album i get my moneys worth out of the one album only deal.

Oooh, tough question as invariably music dates over time. If you asked me ten years ago I would have said 'what's the story morning glory' but I'm not so sure any more.
Mmmh.. at the moment I would pick Embrace's 'Out of Nothing'. Great all round album with only one dud of a song

Oooooh, cheeky, but it's hard to argue with your choice or reasoning, although, I'm sure Bellers would try

Cheers. I remember seeing the Sign O' The Times film in the cinema when it came out. Still one of the best concerts ever recorded in my eyes. Only The Band's Last Waltz and Talking Heads Stop Making Sense rival it for me.
