This sort of attitude really pisses me off. Defending Rodriguez' clear and blatant dive he said "there was no contact, but if the player hadn't moved his leg out of the way, there would have been contact" What a twat!

I totally agree, with managers having this type of attitude blatant cheating is never gonna be stamped out of the game.

I missed motd last night? Did he actually say that? Shocking if so.

However, maybe Adkins is secretly so fed up of the farcical diving in the modern game and is feeling frustrated at 'the man's' refusal to bring about change, that he is trying to force the FA's hand to bring about some movement on this issue?

I honestly, could rant about this all day. But I won't, ill simply say this - Anyone in a professional footballing role who has ever carried out diving or used the excuse 'I only dive to avoid getting hurt' should be slapped around the head with the heaviest thing known to hand and be removed from the gene pool.

Adkins is a cun* full stop.

I've given up on caring about diving provided it doesn't affect City.

Plus I wouldn't mind us signing Jay Rodriguez...
