Adkins has been sacked by Southampton and replaced Mauricio Pochettino.
Just wonder what will happen to Malky if we make the Premiership.

I saw a headline on "200 Percent" this morning about Adkins replacing Jol at Fulham?! That was before the news had broken that he had been sacked. Southampton were very big spenders in the close season, so the pressure was always going to be on Adkins, but I had thought he was turning things around.
Oh well! that moves Southampton from my "Hope they stay up" list to "Couldn't give a sh!t what they do!!"

I was saying in the Summer the money they were spending is absolutely ludicrous. Very similar to the situation that I think Malky might be in, there was too much investment for the board to expect anything else but immediate success. He's done a decent job, but yet another victim of an over zealous board. They are becoming worryingly more and more common.
On the topic of spending too much money - anyone else see that QPR are paying Loic Remy 75K a week? Nice to see good old club wrecking Redknapp back to his old tricks

What's worse is when asked by the media what he will do if QPR end up being relegated he responded 'I would have to sit down and have words with my agent'. Basically, QPR have spent a fortune on a player who's openly admitted on his first day with the team he will walk on them in a heartbeat if they fail.

That's "Our 'Arry!"
I just don't get the Harry RedKnapp love fest! Trail of financially ruined clubs and profligate player contracts. Bit of a "Wheeler Dealer"!

The loyalty in football is shocking tbh.
What a great manager he is to take that side back to the prem in only a few years and this is how they repay him.

Take you're point, but he won't starve. It's not as if he was working for Comet!!
He has been treated shabbily - only 2 defeats in the last 12 Premiership games.
Turns out Pochettino was sacked by Espanyol in November with the Spanish club bottom of La Liga on 9 points after 13 games.
Looks like Southampton have chosen a cracker to launch a campaign towards the Champions League!!

It gets better, a Saints fan went to the ground today and wrote 'Adkins' in the snow - not long after groundskeepers emerged simply to brush it away and the go back in. Picture on twitter if no one believes it. I certainly didn't believe they could be so fickle till I saw it.
