You are right Ronnie, outside of the diff, he will be as seen as doing a good job, and we can't argue he has done ok but his tactics are wrong and has no plan b,

He doesn't fill me with any confidence, was on my way to Paisley today and my wife said Cardiff are playing tonight, yes home to Forest. She asked was it on the telly I said thank god no!

WalesOnline have picked up on this now. Interestingly, the line they haven't taken is "Hands off our Russ".
I think the last three performances against poor teams and the resulting 6 point gap between us and the playoffs has swayed opinion massively.
Maybe Slade's agent has dropped a hint to Luton that he wants out......

Don't get your hopes up. David James spotted in the stand at Luton's game with Wycombe on Boxing Day and was at their training ground on Wednesday.

This rumour makes no sense and even if it were true, I doubt he'd leave with the (supposed) prospect of a Premier League pay day around the (very far off) corner.
