Moore hasn't let anyone down. Every keeper drops a clanger occasionally, remember Marshall away at Chelsea?
I would be happy with Moore as our keeper and I hope if Marshall does go that he gets a chance at the number 1 spot.

Rationalising selling your best played because your backup is still pretty good is small team talk. If Tan was serious about his 'we could be promoted this season' talk, it wouldnt happen. Would you sell Messi just because Suarez isn't bad either?

I think the goalkeeping position is different. If the team is set up properly, you shouldn't need your keeper to continuously rescue you .

I haven't understood the talk about going straight out and buying another keeper if Marshall goes. I think Moore is a good keeper, Wilson is in reserve and we also have Joe Lewis who I think is also very competent but is another of the players who has been 'sent to Coventry'. I don't understand his treatment and why he now seems to be personna non grata and treated like an outcast.

The Goalkeeper is the most important player on the pitch! If your striker can't score that should be okay as you also have 9 other me that can give it a go. You can't say that for your goalkeeper - every defence is breached eventually, and only one man is allowed to put his hand in the way.
Five a side 101 for that matter - you put your worst player up front. You DONT put them in goal.

I'm not sure whether Joe Lewis is still at City or whether he has been released.
He is experienced and more than capable at Championship level. Player of the season last year in a truly awful Blackpool team is some achievement.

Lewis is still at the Club but hasn't been given a squad number or even any friendly game time. He's under contract until the end of this season. Puzzles me.

It could be that Slade is waiting on Marshall and may bring Lewis back into the fold if the WBA thing happens.

When was the last time we had a season that didn't have numerous puzzling decisions?

To stop me pressing charges against you after THAT tackle, remember? We had a deal...
