First topic message reminder :
Cardiff City keeper David Marshall has drawn the attention of Derby County as the Rams look to strengthen the goalkeeper position.
Marshall has been with the Welsh club for six seasons following his move from Norwich City back in 2009, and has played over 200 times for Cardiff.
An integral part of the side that won promotion to the Premier League in 2012-13, Marshall’s vast experience would be a huge asset to Derby should they pursue a transfer.
Marshall’s reputation was further increased following his single-season-stint in the Premier League, as he was voted into Sky Sports Team of the Season.
The 30 year-old keeper has also got experience at International level, having played 17 times for Scotland and earning caps at U21 level.
Much will depend on how the season ends for Derby whether Marshall would be partial to a move, although if they achieve promotion a deal for the stopper would be much more plausible.
With one game left to play, Steve McClaren’s men sit two points inside the play-offs, needing just a point to secure their spot due to their superior goal difference over Brentford and Wolves.

His wages must be ridiculous and on a 5 year deal I believe?
Again Malky =
I used to feel sorry for Velcro, believing that he was never given a fair chance. The strong rumour is that Malky had no say in his purchase and he doesn't seem to have impressed either OGS or Slade.
It does seem that he is content to sit and just draw wages, even though his career is slipping further down the pan, the longer he does that. Consequently, my sympathy for him has lessened somewhat.
