WAITING for it
Not a "move in" as such, but it will certainly feel like a new signing next season: http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/cardiff-city/transfer-talk/news/dikgacoi-i-have-no-intentions-of-leaving_220036.html

He was a major disappointment this season. I thought he was one of the best buys of last summer.
Can't help but feel there is more than meets the eye to his lack of fitness.

Arguably the most important signing, too. We all saw just how important Medel was at times last season - we simply didn't bring in an adequate replacement.

Seems unlikely to happen to me.

I saw a picture of Dikgacoi at the sports event the stadium held only a few days ago - there's no sugar coating it, he looks like he has a significant pie problem. I wouldn't fancy his chances of making it up the stairs in the tunnel, let alone 90 minutes of football.

Cardiff City target French striker Jonathan Kodjia for summer move - reports
10:12, 30 April 2015
By Chris Wathan
The Bluebirds are being touted as potential suitors for 25-year-old Angers striker Jonathan Kodjia, whose 15 goals have helped his club to promotion in ligue 1.
Cardiff City are looking to France for firepower after targeting the next Diafra Sakho, reports have claimed.
The Bluebirds are being touted as potential suitors for 25-year-old Angers striker Jonathan Kodjia whose 15 goals have helped his club to promotion to Ligue 1.
He follows in the footsteps of Sakho, Ligue 2’s top scorer last season who has impressed in the Premier League, hitting double figures for West Ham since making a £3.5m switch to British football last summer.
Russell Slade has made it clear he wants to add to his numbers this term, and with question marks over the futures of loan exiled pair Adam le Fondre and Kenwyne Jones, a move for the 6ft 2in frontman could be on the cards.
Cardiff are reported to have made inquiries about the striker who is also said to be attracting interest from Premier League duo West Brom and Crystal Palace, while an unnamed Turkish side and French top-flight outfit Lorient – Bruno Managa’s former club – are reported to have had bids turned down.
Kodija, who has played the majority of his football in French football’s lower tiers, has suggested he wants to continue in France although did hint he would be prepared to look elsewhere.
He said: “In my career plan, we must move forward step by step. I want to play in Ligue 1 to validate my progress, Angers or elsewhere. Then we will see in terms of what is presented. Having inquiries and binding offers are not the same thing.
perhaps rudy could put in a good word for us

I can't see Rudy advising any striker to come to Cardiff City. We hardly structure our game around their strengths.

SAM MORSY
Recently-appointed Chesterfield club captain Sam Morsy has impressed a number of Championship clubs who are continuing to show interest ahead of the summer transfer window.
Egypt-eligble midfielder Sam Morsy, who has captained Chesterfield to a Championship promotion playoff place, is being chased by a number of Championship clubs.
KingFut can exclusively reveal that Cardiff, Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds United and Wigan had all made offers in January for Sam Morsy, but were hastily rejected by Chesterfield, who lost their top goalscorer Eoin Doyle to Cardiff City and were looking for an astronomical fee for the 23-year-old Egyptian.
Morsy, who in an interview with KingFut expressed his intentions to continue improving his game and progressing with Chesterfield, has said that it would be his dream to represent Egypt.
Chesterfield finished the season with a 1-1 draw against Sheffield United who managed to finish one place above them in 5th.
The Spireites had already guaranteed themselves a promotional playoff place after their 2-0 defeat to League One champions Bristol City.
Chesterfield will play Preston North End in the Championship promotion playoff semi-final on the 7th May at the Proact Stadium with the return leg at Sheffield’s Bramall Lane on 10th May.

Just watched Chesterfield v PNE play-off. Not terribly impressed by Morsy. I think we already have as good, if not much better in Ralls.
