Slovakia beating Spain 1 - 0 so far. Filip Kiss on bench for them tonight.
Bugstaller must be wondering why he came to Cardiff, as he is nowhere near the Austria squad, despite becoming a regular prior to his move........perhaps Velcro might have a word in his ear?

Seems a bit silly the way the press are rounding on the Engerlandshire team after they actually got a result, away, to a tricky side who have a very respectable home record.
Anyways, enough about them - whose watching the game tonight? Got tickets for this one and it'll be my first Wales game in an age. Looking forward to it if we can maintain the same level of performance as the other night.

Very entertaing game and a 5-1 City win but no clues as the team were all regular U21 players. Oshilaja and Danny Johnson each scored twice.
In charge of the Forest team was Jimmy Gilligan.

It's not so much the result that concerns us, it's that we can have so much of the ball yet still wander around aimlessly with no real intent. It's not as if they were pressured well - the Estonian defence didn't do anything special and the goal demonstrated just how shaky their goalkeeper was. Wilshere is one of the worst players I've seen enter the England squad in a long time and that's really saying something - the fact his last hit and hope long ball found Rooney perfectly masked the fact he'd been trying the same thing all game and ruining attack after attack. Sterling asking to be rested is also a worry, you would expect a teenager to be able to play two games in a week when the likes of Wayne Rooney still can. Starting to wonder if it's Brendan Rodgers - especially since he's also holding Sturridge back.
In all honesty Red, given that there really are no easy games at international level (and results over the last few days bear that out) Engerlandshire fans should be just grateful that they've got 9 from 9, regardless of performance. It may not have been pretty and it was quite probably incredibly frustrating BUT the team ground out a win where other teams have faltered. That is what qualifying is all about and that's what successful teams do.
From a nation who celebrates a win over Cyprus like we've just won the world cup to have a "problem" like England's is the stuff of dreams! Supporting a team for what they did achieve rather than castigating them everytime for what they didn't might just help them grow into the force that everyone expects them to be.

You're asking something impossible Arkay - we are City fans. Half of us seemed to want our manager sacked despite him winning the league title, remember?
