My god I hope Spain lose. I would give virtually anything, for the sake of football remaining interesting. The arrogance of the team to play without a striker IN A FINAL is beyond compare, and they're breeding a horrible, boring style of football imitated across Spain and now in our own leagues with Swansea and probably soon Liverpool. I know it's effective, I know it's 'graceful', but my god is it boring to watch 85 minutes of passing between defenders and 5 minutes of attacking.
But I believe inevitably, Spain's players are smart enough and talented enough to effectively eliminate Pirlo's contribution, and from there Italy might well be lama to the slaughter. But nonetheless, I'm begging for a Balotelli hat trick.

I'm with you on that all the way. Heart says Italy though and I'm holding out for a 2-0 or 2-1 Azzurri

It's a result of the Lad's avatar because you can hear Morgan Freeman's voice when you read his posts. I'm not sure Stanley's voice is distinctive enough. I now hear HR Pufnstuf when I type my posts... However I don't think anyone else will know what the feck Pufnstuf sounds like... However for those in the know 'Geeeee Willickers'

Last dinner in front of the TV for a while - just as well, as I've bitten the inside of my cheek and my tongue in quick succession. Their vicious these ham salads.
Torres absence again in a team without a striker can't be good for his confidence. Mario clearly enjoyed himself the other night, and I reckon he fancies some more of the same.
