What a breath of fresh air

Thank you my fellow REDBLUEBIRDS

I post on all three boards. However yesterday I made the decision to stop going on one of them as it was starting to get depressing. It was not the one I expected to leave either. Been in there since Windows was just text, modems were 14.4k and the messages came by way of an email mailing list.

Quite sad really, a part of my life right from the days of Demon internet. But now it's full of people spreading false rumours, trolling and belittling people.

What has the net become? At least I still have porn.

I saw your parting comment - I guess some of it was aimed at me but I slightly lost it over Bakers deliberate trolling.

It wasn't directed at anyone. I refuse to log back in to see what you posted but I am certain it was just yet another trolling and slating thread that pushed me over the edge.

I didn't want to write one of those "look at me" posts about leaving, just thought I'd hide it in a thread and just say "it's time", even then someone laughed and asked if I was talking to myself. or was that you?

To redress the balance, I did moan yesterday about being bored by the Euros, feeling they were a bit 'end of season'. Honesty is the best policy.
