Another one from Saturday evening, but a rare version to continue Toastie's Sandy Denny theme.....

Funnily enough there was a moment before they started singing on the Peter, Paul & Mary track where, for a moment, even though i knew it was chronologically impossible, I was waiting for the words "When i wake up, well i know i'm gonna be" to come out of their mouths

Really liking that The Middle East track Arkay - and a new band to me which is always good to feed my insatiable appetite for new sounds.
There is something about Angel Olsen's voice on this track which feels really emotionally powerful to me - though probably not to everyone's tastes i admit.

That puts the 'women can't rock or play guitar' argument to bed in my book
Have I ever recommended Rue Royale to you Toastie? "Guide to an Escape" is a great little album. This song is from their last one "Remedies Ahead".
They actually played Clwb Ifor Bach last November but I couldn't justify the expense of travelling back from France to see them
