Not convinced 180 million is enough to break into that club. The squads of Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool probably already surpass that.

I always think this is a stupid thing to announce - just like Tan did last season - because immediately clubs put their prices up knowing that you've got money to burn.

Makes no sense. Shut the f**k up, keep it under the radar and get value for money.

Also, are they even allowed to do that with uefa financial fair play rules? Isn't that why man city might be getting to a spot of bother for breaking the rules?

Theres so many loopholes in the system that I doubt it would affect them. The rules simply state that you have to be there or there about breaking even - so if you find ways to fund the club that FFP count as fair profit then it is void.

Besides, Barcelona are under transfer embargo for breaking the regulations yet have already agreed transfers for two new players. Figure that one out.
