Solskjaer no doubt seen Malky Mackay's comments this week: 'Joe will lead the line for Cardiff City in the coming years. The Premier League came too soon for him, he would be first choice striker if the club was still playing Championship football'.

We'd be daft to sell him at £600,000. Mason has bags of potential, but needs game time. A loan arrangement is ideal..........
