According to the Daily mail, Solskjaers contract is 4 million pounds a season, with a 2 million pound bonus if the club stay up.
Breaking It down, that puts him on a minimum of 74 grand a week. Not sure how trustworthy the source is, but it does agree with the rumour Tan was willing to spend very big on a new manager.

I wouldn't be surprised. OGS is earning mega bucks but because it's a rolling contract he can be relieved of his position cheaply

I wouldn't at all be surprised if that rolling contract became a permenant one in the summer if we stay up, particularly if we do it impressively. Other teams will start sniffing around Solskjaer, so if Tan ties him down and he is poached,he is sitting on a goldmine.

I think that once OGS has settled in, and he's satisfied with the set up (who's in charge of what), he'll ask for / be offered a 'standard' contract.
Assuming he's done well, obviously!
