For what 2014 holds? New Manager New Players New Tactics
Do we hope the new manager is as professional as malky in regards to the media and fans?
Seeing as I've read its not solksjaer and not the turk, I hope its not sven, But Bielsa
Whats Your Thoughts? Whatever happens theres never a dull moment

Who has said it isn't Solskjaer? I've only read Jan Aage Fjortoft saying he thinks he would say no

He wasn't keen to move his family for Villa, but he has delayed contrct talks with Molde.

Very nervous, but you should expect that from me
Optimistically, the squad demonstrated that with the stability a permenant manager would give, their is life after Malky. Maybe even improvement - Noone, Mutch and Campbell demonstrated that they are a highly efficient attacking force, while the defence for the first 60 minutes were unmovable. With 25 million in extra players strengthening the wings and our other slightly shortcomings, the squad is good enough to stay up without a doubt.
I want to see good football from the new guy. I liked Malky, but people like TDA should back me in saying Malky regularly frustrated me with consistently negative football. Everything seems better when your team play nice football.
And one paper has said Solskjer isn't interested, when if there was any substance they would all be saying it by now. I've said before I'd be ecstatic with Solskjaer, but my heart is so set on him I would be disappointed by anyone else.

I think we could actually, under a manager with that mindset, play some attractive attacking football with a decent passing game. I still think it was apparent yesterday that if we had an out and out goalscorer playing we would have won that game 4-2

Whitts was the only dud, unfortunately after a run of impressive games he seems to be back to his very poor performances. His set plays. Aside from the cheeky goal attempt, we're abysmally poor, and his crosses found no one at all. I swear his one free kick hit the knee if someone in the wall - even I could of given it a better go.
Now Noone has made right wing his own, the left wing is in more need of a new face.

I'm excited.
We showed yesterday that we can play nice football, we can score from open play, and we can score in the first half(!).
If we can get a good manager, we can make our way up to a mid-table finish I reckon. Tbh, even if we finish 17th, staying up on goal difference, I don't care - as long as we're playing decent football.

Cautiously optimistic.
We have the nucleus of a good PL squad, ideally we need a couple more players, but most importantly, we need a manager who recognises their strengths and plays to them.

Finally someone addresses the elephant in the room. Marshall has made a grand total of zero shots on target and even worse, zero passes in the final third! No wonder Tan is furious, the man is a sloth and Malky didn't seem to care!

Optimistic. We finally played good football without Malky now if only Marshall would shoot more...we might score more goals.
