Predicting the weather is the most inaccurate and pointless science there is.
I once heard the analogy that predicting the weather is like trying to predict which station a train will stop at, when there is 300 different stations and the train can change to whatever track it likes at nytime . You can point out where it looks like it's going, but never where it'll actually stop.
