Given the farcical events of this last few days, and the need to commence structural changes to the Ninian Stand immediately to meet the Super Cup deadline, will this now go ahead? The chances of us staying up will plummet and expansion for 1 game is not something Vinnie would sanction, unless of course, UEFA pay the majority of the cost and he can sell the steel off for a good price as scrap.

This was given the go ahead yesterday, but it went a little under the radar.

Yes - I hear work is going to commence pretty much straight away! Looking forward to the boys playing in front of 33,000 - they deserve it!

Oh ye of little faith. That things will be difficult for us for the rest of the season is in no doubt, but I believe if Malky is prepared to be a bit more adventurous against certain teams, we will finish above the bottom three and we'll easily get 33,000 crowds next season.

Malky will be gone in a month. His replacement will be someone like Alan Shearer. We will be relegated, and playing in front of a half empty stadium next stadium.

Well there's no point burying our heads in the sand here. Tan gets what he wants. If Malky's too stubborn to go quietly Tan will sack him. We have a horrible run of games coming up, with the probable results likely to be the perfect 'excuse'.

When Malky goes we are fucked. He rebuilt the club from the ground up and he will take everything good with him when he lands his next job - and good luck to him.

I really , really wish I could laugh and call you an idiot. But yet it's the opposite, I see this being worryingly plausible.

Glass half empty or half full, the doom and gloom merchants on this board can choose theirs to wash down the food of pessimism on which they feed.  Mine is half full and with a little bit of luck will be full by the end of the season.

Some far more optimistic people posting than me and really can't work out why given Boratgate? I'll feel a lot more optimistic about the club's short term future if work actually starts in the next couple of weeks. I mean, if VT is looking to sell on, or for the Super Cup to be played here, is the expansion necessary now? Continuing with the expansion would however signal some small commitment, maybe?

My company is contracted to design the expansion, so we're assuming it's going ahead.

Makes no difference to me if we're in the PL or the championship next season, I'll still be going along to enjoy the football. There's always a challenge to face.

You've made Vinnie so mad he's forgotten how to use grammar! Ninian Stadium expansion? 692773407

Seriously though, lets not devolve this down to name calling and personal attacks. Not specifically targeted at anyone yet, but it's getting a bit close for my liking .
