First topic message reminder :

A day later than expected, but the prodigal son has returned. Apparently the Redbluebirds Moderator Code Of Conduct takes a little longer to get through customs than I thought, mainly due to the fact it requires a second airplane to transport it safely.

Sounds like I missed a blood pressure raising match against Peterborough and a barnstormer against Blackburn. I did get back in time to watch the Watford game and it felt like it I was never away - a good result but plenty of face palming whenever Conway either gave the ball away or threw himself to the ground. Malky gets my praise for setting us up in a way that proved so difficult to break down and delivering a good result, with Conway getting the nod over Noone my only doubt. I also silently cursed Malky dor not playing Kadeem Harris instead of Tommy Smith, but that was probably sown to too much time stuck playing FIFA in airports so i let that slide. Probably already been said, but Turner was superb in defence and Marshall pulled off one of the finest saves this league has seen in recent years to deny Watford.

Problem is Red, you concerns are about a week or so too late. We did all this after the Peterbro' game. Malky responded by letting Kimbo, Mutch & Gunnarsson loose in midfield, dropping Whitts and giving free rein to the wings, Bellamy and Conway. I suggest you look at the rerun of the 90 minutes against Blackburn on City Player to see how well that worked.

Yesterday's game was the third in 8 days, away to the team third in the league, desperate for points to stay in touch with the auto spots.

City played them off the park for the first 30 mins. We were obviously going to come under pressure in the second half and everybody was guilty of giving the ball away more often than in the first period.

It was a comfortable draw in the end......job done!

I was in a good mood when I woke up this morning and thought I would look in to see if everyone else was.

most of us would agree that conway has his limitations and in many ways i prefer smith to him on the wing with bellers on the other flank. in his favour, he puts in a shift and works well for and with the team.

Great point yesterday... Now need 8 points from 6 to counter an utter Watford end of season rampage..... Watford have managed 2 points from their last four matches.... They now have

Do you really think Watford will get 15 points

Ten points max from that lot.

They really didn't impress me that much yesterday. Vydra has been a large part of their success, but he looked pretty knacked and out of sorts.

it may well be down to their narrow selection policy and away to peterborough is not going to be easy as they are fighting for every point

I'm definitely in a good mood today - fantastic win against Blackburn and an impressive point against a very dangerous Watford.

My limping over the line comment could have been written better. What I meant to say was that when we were 11 clear, I had secretly hoped that we would run away with the league but that doesn't look as likely now.

I must admit, when we were 11 pts clear, my only thought was that we would need all of that cushion come the end of the season!

Exactly! There were a couple of statements this morning that were at odds with the whole ethos of this board and reminiscent of elsewhere.
