Major League Soccer

First topic message reminder :

Been a passive fan of the MLS for a few years now, with Toronto FC the side I chose to 'follow'. Earnie making the move across the pond meant that I would try and watch even more games this season, starting last night with the launch of the new campaign.

It's incredible just how many household(ish) names now ply their trade over in Major League Soccer. Take yesterday's game between Vancouver Whitecaps and Toronto for example where we had Earnshaw, Miller, Ephraim, Reo-Coker, Eckersley and Lee (as well as manager Ryan Nelson) all involved.

The reason for creating this thread was in the hope that I'm not alone in watching this "below average quality" league?

Now that would be a line I couldn't cross. If Tan introduced leather tassles, I would seriously kick off. I would immediately go on the offensive and organise a committee to discuss the disaster. We would have to consider going at him with both barrels and hit him with a big,and I mean big, leaflet campaign.

Is that A0 size leaflets? Would we fold them or roll them up?

Another goal for Earnie yesterday - capitalized on some poor defending from LA Galaxy. I make that four in four now
