Just been thinking about these early days of the Redbluebirds forum and I have to say that, although it very quiet - and sometimes you have to wait an hour or two for a response - I love logging on. Don't get me wrong, it would be great to have a few (a lot) more regular posters on here to liven things up a bit in the quiet moments, but I for one am enjoying the little community that is developing slowly. It's a bit more chilled out and not trying to be anything more than it is.
We officially have 289 users, but it's the same few that are keeping this thing alive - I will keep the forum going as long as people want it to. If there comes a point when the site has served it's purpose and people don't feel the need to use it anymore, that's fine. But I have a feeling that we will be around for a little longer yet. (As long as people occasionally click the ad at the top, of course

But I just wanted to say thanks to you guys that come on here regularly, it's nice to have a place to actually talk about football and our club with like-minded people. I'm sure that as the season goes on, we will have more people who join us. Rome did not get built in a day, CCMB did not get built in a day (15 years in fact). Thanks eveyone & keep on posting!

Among many positive things, this forum is far and away the most smart phone friendly, which should bring in the members. Give it time.

This forum is great. It takes years for a forum to go up to another level buddy and this forum will especially when the red stays and people start seeing the blue forums as nothing more than outdated sites. Our new breed of fans won't want to go on outdated blue forums, they will come here to the modern forums.

Yeh well done Rhys, I too ocassionally post on CCMB, but I get wound up easily on there. On here it's pretty light hearted except for when Biguba and welshfella clashed that one time. I like to think I could enioy a pint with most members of this board.

Sheesh Rhys if you're going to go all gay on us.. 
I like this place because I can express an extreme opinion and simply be disagreed with, rather than simply getting pages and pages of abuse and death threats. I'm surrounded by like minded people too so discussion is far more laid back without that feeling you need to research Cardiffs entire history before you say anything in case you make a tiny error.

Some awful bitter & twisted stuff going on elsewhere! last weekend. The usual suspects - best left alone. It's like walking into a rough pub where you know it's best not to say anything or catch anybody's eye!
