So Malky goes back to 4-4-2 for most of the game (except the last ten minutes when it was 4-4-1-1) and we get a convincing win.
If you went to the game how'd you think it went, i personally watched it online and was very impressed with the boys. The work rate was as high as ever but the quality was fantastic, Craig Noone ran them off the park and looks a wonder signing whilst Maynard was sheer class too.
The defense was completely solid and i for one am feeling very positive after that.
Thoughts on the game everyone?

Yeah i'd agree although that's unfortunate on Smith who i thought was good too, defensively v solid and that helped us a lot.

The only problem today was our left back position doesn't close down enough to stop crosses coming in. We just need to get players on the left to double up and stop more crosses coming in and we'll pick up even more points.
Other than that today we were solid and look like a team that can actually counter attack.

How dare you! I've never been so insulted or had such slanderous comments made about me. I do NOT have a blog!
(I am a hooligan though)

Our substitutions spoke volumes today. To have such quality to call on from the bench is priceless. We've been crying out for players like Noone and Maynard to get us out of our seats for years. Exciting times ahead when we can call on bellamy too

I've just been reading a hilarious thread on a Wolves message board (17 pages!) containing some classics:-
"Noone looks a right queen.
Fabulous strike (after their goal).
Poor, poor, display. Cardiff are woeful as well.
We're making Whittingham look like Messi.
Refs are obviously corrupt in this League.
Terrible positioning by the keeper (after Whitts goal).
We've now lost to Leeds and Cardiff. Fairly average teams at this level".
I was half expecting to read they've been twinned with CCMB.

I don't think you could drop Smith after yesterdays performance!
