Stadium name

Have now been to the AMEX twice and really like its ‘quirky’ design – so different to the usual bowl style, and the acoustics are great. I also like the name.

This has got me wondering what stadium sponsors we might ultimately attract and what our stadium might then be called.

I hate to say it (I really do) but the jacks have got a good sponsor name. The Liberty Stadium sounds like a statement rather than sponsorship, and I wonder how many actually realise that there is a sponsor called Liberty let alone what they do. I fantasize that Jack Hunt will one day sign for them (when he is past it of course) and become such a legend that they name a stand or even the stadium after him – that would have an appropriate ring about it.

Of Cardiff based companies, a great sponsor for us would be a company at Culverhouse Cross called Tidy Productions, so that we could then have The Tidy Stadium. It would be even better if they sponsored half the stadium. I would be happy to have Admiral as a sponsor as long as they called it The Admiral Stadium and didn’t name it after Confused.com. The Confused Stadium would not sound good.

Any suggestions?

The Confused Stadium is about right.
